That sears
my very soul
Overshadows

says, “I know”.

touch
One that makes
my heart cry
Tears of
overwhelming joy
Without the
question, “Why?”
I dream of a good man
Who knows
who he is
No
questioning motives
He knows my
heart is his
I dream of a warm sunny day
Walking hand
in hand
Soaking in
the dreams we live
Together, even stronger we stand
I dream of
the moonlight
Blessed with a
kiss from our souls
When we find the love we share
Surpasses
all our earthly goals
I dream of a
moment
Where we
rest in one another’s breath
Inhaling the sweet scent of each other
Our hearts
full, no longer bereft.
I dream of
you, my valiant love
Only a
heartbeat away
So close, I
can feel you
True love comes, one day.

This is a perfect roadmap. Put it in gear, drive... Somewhere ahead is an intersection where an unsuspecting fellow is paused at a cross road, and he will look up just in time, and there you'll be.
